Shifting with the Market: Atlas Expands Capabilities to Meet Demand in High-Performance Compute

Pardon our mess as we add more capabilities

At Atlas Manufacturing, we thrive on innovation, and we’ve always let the needs of our customers guide us. As high-performance compute (HPC) continues to grow—driven by the rise of artificial intelligence and the need for advanced data processing—Atlas is stepping up to meet the challenge.

To support this growth, we’ve made significant investments at our Minneapolis facility, adding new capabilities that empower us to deliver more for our customers in this rapidly evolving field.

Enhanced Punching Capabilities

We’ve added two Trumpf TruPunch 5000 machines, giving us the tools to handle even the most demanding HPC applications. These advanced systems allow us to:

  • Create Complex Features: Progressive ribs, small forms, countersinks, extrude-and-tap operations, and more.
  • Deliver Scratch-Free Results: The brush table with an active die ensures a smooth, high-quality finish ideal for applications where precision matters most.
  • Increase Speed and Precision: Faster production timelines mean we can handle growing demand without compromising on quality.

Dedicated Hardware Insertion and Assembly

To complement our punching capabilities, we’ve also restructured the facility to focus on hardware insertion and assembly, adding two new Haeger auto-feed hardware insertion machines. These machines offer:

  • Faster Assembly: Streamlined processes that meet tight deadlines with ease.
  • Enhanced Accuracy: CAD integration allows operators to position hardware precisely, ensuring flawless assembly.

Core Values in Action

At Atlas, we’re driven by flexibility and opportunism—adapting as markets shift and embracing opportunities to grow with our customers. The explosion of AI and HPC demand underscores our commitment to staying ahead of the curve, delivering the tools and solutions our customers need to succeed in this transformative era.

From punching to assembly, Atlas Manufacturing is your trusted partner in precision fabrication for high-performance compute.
