Atlas Manufacturing Feature in Metalforming Magazine

Efficiency and set-up reduction are two important core values to the Atlas Manufacturing team. Over the past few years, we’ve upgraded our production machinery and made some changes to our existing die changing approach. This has created a more efficient die changing process. In fact, according to the recent feature article in Metalforming Magazine, “Results have been impressive.”

The Atlas team found some of these new solutions when visiting METALFORM and FABTECH in Las Vegas in 2012. Contacts made at the conference led Engel to Todd Wenzel of TCR Metalforming Solutions in Wisconsin Rapids. By the time TCR finished making some quick die changes at Atlas, it helped reduce die-swap times by 50-75 percent.
